Lunos eGO™ HRV: Balanced Ventilation for Compact Spaces

Lunos eGO™ HRV: Balanced Ventilation for Compact Spaces

Single‑room HRV that delivers fresh, filtered air and heat recovery without ductwork.

The Lunos eGO is a compact, efficient, and reliable heat recovery ventilation unit engineered for single-room applications such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and small offices.

Where paired HRV systems like the e² aren’t practical, the eGO offers a standalone solution that maintains indoor comfort, reduces moisture and odors, and improves air quality — all with a straightforward, ductless installation.

Advanced pbD Heat Exchanger Technology

At the heart of the eGO is an environmentally friendly, recyclable pbD polymer heat exchanger. This innovative core:

  • Improves airflow efficiency
  • Reduces manufacturing energy use by over 70%
  • Cuts unit weight by more than 50% compared to traditional
    ceramic cores
  • Delivers reliable performance and strong heat recovery

Together, these features make the eGO both highly effective and environmentally considerate.

Dual‑Fan System for Continuous Ventilation

Unlike paired units such as the e², the eGO uses a dual‑fan through‑wall configuration that independently handles supply and exhaust airflow within a single sleeve.

This self‑contained design provides:

  • Continuous balanced ventilation
  • Up to ~92% heat recovery efficiency
  • Low noise operation
  • Simple installation with minimal maintenance

It’s the ideal choice for rooms up to 150 sq ft where traditional paired systems aren’t feasible.

Sizing — Same Performance, Different Wall Depths

Choosing between the two eGO models is straightforward: both offer the same airflow performance, dual-fan
configuration, and heat recovery efficiency. The difference lies in installation depth — simply choose the correct tube length based on your wall thickness

Performance Specs

Operating Principle - Single-Unit (Simultaneous Supply & Exhaust) Uses two fans operating in opposite directions, eliminating the need for a pair of units.

Airflow Rates (CFM) - Heat Recovery Mode: ≈3/6/12 CFM.

Heat Recovery Efficiency (Max.) Up to 92%

Power Consumption (W) - 1.0−4.9 W

Minimum Noise Level - As low as ≈16.8 dB (Sound pressure level). Range is generally 16.8 dB to 24.0 dB in heat recovery mode.

Filter Class- G3 (MERV 3) Regenerable replacement filters are standard. Pollen (MERV 7) filters are optional.

Dimensions & Installation

Unit Diameter - Approximately 6.1 inches (154 mm) for the fan unit. This is the diameter of the fan and heat recovery core that slides into the sleeve.

Core Bore Size - 6.3 inches (160-162 mm). This is the required diameter for the hole drilled through the wall to fit the sleeve.

Minimum Wall Thickness - 8 inches (200 mm)Required minimum wall depth

Installation Sleeve Length -

Standard Sleeve: 19.7 inches (500 mm) cut to length.

Short Sleeve: 12.5 inches (317 mm) cut to length. Minimum wall depth of 8 inches (200 mm)

Features & Technology

Core Technology

Regenerative Heat Exchange Principle:
The eGO ventilator operates using a regenerative heat exchange cycle, built around a pbD polymer‑based composite heat accumulator. This innovative core is made from an environmentally friendly, recyclable polymer, engineered to reduce production energy by over 70% and unit weight by more than 50% compared to prior core materials — all while maintaining high heat recovery performance.

During operation, warm indoor air transfers heat to the accumulator during the exhaust phase. When the airflow reverses, incoming fresh air passes through the warmed core and absorbs that stored heat before entering the room. This cyclical process enables efficient heat recovery — delivering balanced ventilation with minimal energy use and a lower environmental footprint.
