Lunos eGO™ HRV: Your Compact, All-in-One Ventilation Solution

The Lunos ego™ is an ultra-compact, ductless heat recovery ventilation (HRV) system, uniquely engineered for optimum air quality in small or single-room spaces such as bathrooms, kitchens, WCs, or rooms up to approximately 150 sq. ft.

Unlike the paired operation of the Lunos e2 system, the ego unit contains two fans in a single device, allowing it to simultaneously supply fresh air and exhaust stale air, all while utilizing a regenerative ceramic core to recover heat.

Dimensions & Installation

Unit Diameter- Approximately 6.1 inches (154 mm) for the fan unit. This is the diameter of the fan and heat recovery core that slides into the sleeve.

Core Bore Size- 6.3 inches (160-162 mm). This is the required diameter for the hole drilled through the wall to fit the sleeve.

Installation Sleeve Length -

Standard Sleeve:19.7 inches (500 mm) cut to length. Suitable for a range of wall thicknesses, generally up to 19.7 inches.

Short Sleeve- 12.5 inches (317 mm) cut to length. Suitable for wall depths from 8 inches (200 mm) to 12.5 inches (317 mm).

Core Technology

Regenerative Heat Exchange Principle: The system operates on the principle of regenerative heat exchange, similar to the Lunos e² units.

It uses a ceramic core (acuvent storage stone) with a honeycomb structure to store thermal energy.

During one part of the cycle, exhaust air transfers its heat to the ceramic core.

During the reverse cycle, incoming fresh air absorbs the stored heat from the core.

High Heat Recovery Efficiency: The system is highly energy-efficient, with tested heat recovery efficiencies of 81.4% to over 86% (depending on the fan length/model).

Low Power Consumption: It features very low power consumption, starting from as low as 1.0 W (watt).

Quiet Operation: It is designed for quiet operation, with sound levels ranging from about 16.8 dB to 24.0 dB in heat recovery mode.

Compact Size: The eGO is noted for its small dimensions, positioning it as one of the world's smallest decentralized fans with heat recovery in the two-channel device class.
