Lunos e2™ collection

Lunos e² Collection — Compact, Efficient, Balanced Through-Wall Ventilation

Compact, efficient, and sustainable — the Lunos e² Collection is a leading choice in decentralized heat recovery ventilation. At its core is the new pbD heat exchanger, made from an environmentally friendly, recyclable polymer. This design improves airflow efficiency by 3–5%, reduces manufacturing energy use by over 70%, and cuts weight by more than 50% compared to traditional ceramic cores.

The result is a lower environmental footprint before the system is even installed, easier handling during setup, and the same whisper-quiet, high-efficiency operation Lunos is known for. Each unit delivers a continuous supply of fresh, filtered air and recovers up to 90% of the heat from outgoing air — all in a through-wall design that requires no ductwork.

Well-suited to retrofits, tiny homes, Passive House–compatible builds, and multi-unit residential projects, the e² Collection offers a compact, low-maintenance way to maintain healthy indoor air in all climates.

Choosing the Right e² Model

Selecting between the two e² models is straightforward — it’s primarily about matching your wall depth. Both deliver the same airflow, core technology, and nearly identical real-world performance.

e² Standard – Requires a minimum wall depth of 10½ inches. Supplied with a 19.7" (500 mm) sleeve that’s cut to fit during installation. If your wall is shallower, a surface-mounted extension box (inside or outside) can make up the difference.

e² Short – Requires a minimum wall depth of 7½ inches. Includes a 10¼" (260 mm) sleeve, cut to fit during installation. Like the Standard, it can be paired with a surface-mounted extension box if needed.

The Standard’s slightly longer heat-exchange core provides only a minor efficiency advantage, so your choice comes down to wall depth and installation constraints.
